A Christmas Miracle

My flight took off on time and took as long as they said it would. I sat between two pleasant people, who spoke with me as much as was comfortable for conversation with a stranger, but enough to keep me company. I watched as three strangers helped to take care of a child who was traveling without his parents. They even made a puppet with him out of the complimentary barf bag. There were three dogs on my flight and one woman who was traveling to Los Angeles to be on Judge Judy, and my flight was still quiet.

And a partridge in a pear tree.

God, bless us, every one.
